German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock used her first official visit to Israel on Thursday to assure Israeli leaders of German solidarity and announced a determined fight against anti-Semitism. Israel’s security remained of fundamental importance to Germany, Baerbock said at a meeting with her counterpart Yair Lapid. “We will not fall back from this line,” she added.
