Lifting and handling a 2000-pound bomb left behind by ISIS in the Mosul Hotel

The Civil Defense Directorate in Nineveh announced that it had removed and dealt with a 2,000-pound bomb left behind by ISIS terrorists in the Mosul Hotel.

The civil defense media official, Colonel Saad Al-Khattabi, told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA, “The Unexploded Bombs Division of the Civil Defense Directorate in Nineveh managed to remove and handle a 2000-pound bomb left behind by ISIS criminal gangs from inside the Mosul Hotel site (under construction). “

He added, “The bomb handling teams in the civil defense handed over the bomb to the engineering effort of the Nineveh Operations Command for the purpose of destroying it in accordance with the approved contexts.”
