Baghdad Oil prices rose today, Monday, to nearly $84 a barrel, after the state-owned Saudi Aramco oil company raised the official selling price for its crude.
Brent crude rose 90 cents, or 1.1%, to $83.64 a barrel, at 05:11 GMT, after dropping nearly 2% last week. US oil rose 87 cents, or 1.1%, to $82.14, after dropping nearly 3% on Friday.
Aramco rose late Friday the official selling price of its Arab Light crude for the month of December to Asia against Oman/Dubai crude.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allies like Russia, better known as OPEC+, agreed last week to stick to a plan to increase oil production by 400,000 barrels per day from December.
