Weather: Hot, dry conditions

Weather today in Palestine is hot and dry during the day and warm during the night with another rise in temperature, which becomes 4°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly and light to moderate, while sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 17°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Another rise in temperature is expected on Friday, approaching 5°C above the seasonal average.

Saturday’s temperature is expected to significantly rise, becoming 6°C above the seasonal average.

Sunday’s temperature is too expected to rise again, becoming 7°C above the seasonal average.

PMD warned against direct exposure to the sun especially during peak hours from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and setting fire to dry grassy areas.
