Weather: Hot to very hot conditions

Weather today in Palestine is hot to very hot and dry with no change in temperature, remaining 7°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northwesterly and light to moderate, while sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 20°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 31°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 41°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

However, temperature slightly drops on Tuesday but remains 5°C above the seasonal average, said the PMD.

Temperature drops further on Wednesday approaching 3°C above the seasonal average.

Thursday’s temperature drops again, becoming around its annual average.

PMD warned against direct exposure to the sun especially during peak hours from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, and setting fire to dry grassy areas.
