Huawei Launches Lossless Ethernet Storage Network Solution NoF+ to Spark Digital Finance Innovation

SHANGHAI, June 4, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — At the Huawei Intelligent Finance Summit 2021, Huawei launched the lossless Ethernet storage networking solution, NoF+. The solution implements end-to-end data acceleration in storage scenarios by leveraging OceanStor Dorado all-flash storage systems and CloudEngine data center storage network switches. It fully unlocks the potential of all-flash performance, and injects new momentum into fintech innovation.

As a frontrunner in digital transformation, the financial industry is moving toward omni-channel coverage. Finance Everywhere has become the catalyst for explosive data growth and data infrastructure innovation, and the all-flash trend is now unstoppable. Since 2018, the global shipment of all-flash (SSDs) has far exceeded that of traditional mechanical disks (HDDs), delivering a 100x increase in read and write performance. The Huawei NoF+ Solution includes an iLossless algorithm to achieve zero packet loss with 100% storage network throughput. Compared to FC, the IOPS improves by 87% and the latency reduces by 42%. In intra-city active-active scenarios, the solution uses 100GE links for 70 km lossless transmission, reducing cross-DC links by 90% compared to FC links.
  • Proactive fault detection and failover within one second: Traditional Ethernet networks lack proactive fault detection and notification mechanisms. When a fault occurs, link failover takes a long time, thus interrupting storage services. The NoF+ Solution provides intelligent perception capabilities, meaning that switches can proactively report faults within milliseconds and work with storage devices to implement failover within one second, without affecting storage services when a single point of network failure occurs.
  • Plug-and-play and one-click capacity expansion of storage: In storage scenarios, traditional Ethernet networks need to be manually configured node by node, which is a complex and error-prone process. ‫خبير تقني متفائل بشأن قدرة الصين في البرمجيات المفتوحة المصدر والإنتاج بالجملة لرقائق 28 نانومتر

قال خبير كبير فى علوم الكمبيوتر يوم 27 مايو الماضي إن الصين يتعين عليها تكريس المزيد من الجهود لتعزيز قدرتها في البرمجيات المفتوحة المصدر فى الوقت الذى تواصل فيه توسيع قطاعها لإنتاج الأجهزة الحاسوبية .

وأكد نى قوانغ نان، وهو أكاديمى بالأكاديمية الصينية للهندسة أهمية البقاء فى صدارة المنافسة المفتوحة المصدر فى خطاب رئيسى بمدينة شنتشن في مقاطعة قوانغدونغ جنوبي الصين، وفقا لما أورده تقرير نشره(cs.com.cn)، وهو موقع تديره صحيفة تشاينا سيكيوريتيز جورنال .

وقال ني قوانغ نان إن البرمجيات المفتوحة المصدر تستخدم على نطاق أوسع في الذكاء الاصطناعي والبيانات الضخمة والحوسبة السحابية وغيرها من التقنيات الرئيسية، وهي تحل تدريجيا محل البرمجيات التقليدية المسجلة الملكية. ونمت في السنوات الأخيرة شعبية تصميم الأجهزة الحاسوبية المفتوحة المصدر وبنائها وتكييفها حسب الطلب.

وأشار ني قوانغ نان إلى أن الصين تعد رائدة عالمية في مجال المصادر المفتوحة من حيث عدد العاملين والمساهمين فى هذا المجال. وبحلول عام 2019، كان هناك 10 ملايين و500 ألف مساهم في مجال المصادر المفتوحة بجميع أنحاء العالم، ومن بينهم 3 ملايين و800 ألف من آسيا، ومنهم مليون و180 ألف مساهم صيني، ويشكل ذلك 31% من إجمالي المساهمين في آسيا.

25 ألف مصل يؤدون الجمعة في “الأقصى”

أدى 25 ألف مصلٍ، صلاة الجمعة اليوم، في المسجد الأقصى المبارك، وسط إجراءات احتلالية مشددة على دخول المواطنين من الضفة، وفق ما أكدته دائرة الأوقاف الإسلامية بالقدس.

وشددت شرطة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، من إجراءاتها العسكرية على دخول المصلين من حملة الهوية الفلسطينية، ودققت في هويات الشبان، ونشرت عناصرها عند بوابات المسجد.

وأكد خطيب المسجد الأقصى المبارك، الشيخ يوسف أبو سنينة أن الفئة المنتصرة، لن تنتصر بكثرة عددها وإنما بإيمانها وتمسكها بتعاليم الشريعة الإسلامية.

ولفت الشيخ أبو سنينة أن رباط المقدسيين في المسجد الأقصى، ومقاومة الفلسطينيين في كافة الأراضي الفلسطينية، أسهم في تحقيق النصر، وإعادة المركزية للقضية الفلسطينية.

وشدد أبو سنينة على أن مفاوضة العدو وتطبيع العلاقات معه، لن يجلبا النصر للقضية الفلسطينية، مبيّنا أن القضية الفلسطينية هي قضية المسلمين المركزية.

وانتقد الشيخ أبو سنينة التطبيع وإقامة العلاقات مع الاحتلال.

وأشاد أبو سنينة برباط الشباب الفلسطيني، ومساندة الشعوب العربية والإسلامية للحق الفلسطيني، داعا المطبعين إلى الاعتذار عن تطبيعهم.

ولفت خطيب الأقصى إلى أهمية الوحدة الفلسطينية، ودورها في تحقيق المشروع الفلسطيني، مبيّنا أن حصار غزة ليس قدرًا حتميّان وأنه قد حان الوقت لإنهائه.

وأكد أبو سنينة بضرورة تحقيق شروط النصر، والابتعاد عن الفرقة والاختلاف، داعيا المسلمين إلى الدفاع عن المسجد الأقصى المبارك، والالتفاف حول العلماء الربانيين.

“الصحة” الفلسطينية تسجل وفاتين و311 إصابة جديدة بـ”كورونا”

أعلنت وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية في رام الله، اليوم الجمعة، تسجيل وفاتين و311 إصابة جديدة بفيروس “كورونا” و110 حالات تعاف، خلال الـ24 ساعة الماضية.

وبينت الوزارة أن نسبة التعافي من فيروس “كورونا” في فلسطين، بلغت 97.5%، فيما بلغت نسبة الإصابات النشطة 1.4%، ونسبة الوفيات 1.1% من مجمل الإصابات.

وتوزعت الإصابات الجديدة في المحافاظات على النحو الأتي: طولكرم 4، جنين 11، نابلس 12، ضواحي القدس 1، بيت لحم 2، أريحا والأغوار 1، رام الله والبيرة 4، الخليل 3، قطاع غزة 273.

ولفتت الوزارة إلى وجود 20 مريضاً في غرف العناية المكثفة، بينهم 3 مرضى على أجهزة التنفس الاصطناعي، فيما يٌعالج في مراكز وأقسام “كورونا” في المستشفيات في الضفة الغربية 47 مريضاً.

وفيما يخص المواطنين الذين تلقوا الطعومات المضادة لفيروس “كورونا”، فقد بلغ عددهم الإجمالي في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة 372 ألفًا و827، بينهم 234 ألفًا و295، تلقوا الجرعتين من اللقاح.

إصابات بالرصاص خلال قمع الاحتلال فعاليات في الضفة

أصيب عشرات الفلسطينيين، ظهر اليوم الجمعة، بالرصاص الحي والمطاطي، خلال قمع قوات الاحتلال، فعالتين مناوئتين للاستيطان في بلدتي نعلين وكفر قدوم، في الضفة.

وفي نعلين (غرب رام الله)، أصيب فلسطينيان بالرصاص الحي، خلال مواجهات مع قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في المنطقة الجنوبية من البلدة.

وذكرت مصادر محلية، إن قوات الاحتلال أطلقت الرصاص الحي تجاه الفلسطينيين، خلال مواجهات في المنطقة الجنوبية في البلدة المحاذية للجدار، ما أدى إلى إصابة اثنين نقلا على إثرها للعلاج.

وأطلقت قوات الاحتلال، الرصاص الحي وقنابل الغاز والصوت بكثافة، ما أدى إشعال النيران في إحدى الأراضي الزراعية.

وخرج الأهالي إلى الأراضي المذكورة في فعالية دعت إليها فعاليات نعلين، رفضا للاستيطان على أراضي البلدة.

وفي مسيرة كفر قدوم، أصيب عشرات الفلسطينيين بالاختناق، جراء قمع قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي مسيرة كفر قدوم الأسبوعية المناهضة للاستيطان، والمطالبة بفتح شارع القرية المغلق منذ أكثر من 18 عاما.

وأفادت مصادر محلية، بأن قوات الاحتلال أطلقت قنابل الغاز المسيل للدموع بكثافة صوب المشاركين في المسيرة، الذين رفعوا علم فلسطين، ورددوا الهتافات الداعية لتصعيد المقاومة الشعبية، ما أدى لإصابة العشرات منهم بالاختناق، جرى علاجهم ميدانيا.

مستشار هنية: لمعركة القدس انعكاسات واضحة على المشهد الإقليمي وعلاقة المقاومة مع محيطها

قال المستشار الإعلامي لرئيس المكتب السياسي لحركة المقاومة الإسلامية “حماس” طاهر النونو: “إن تأثيرات ودلالات معركة سيف القدس مختلفة عن كل ما سبق من مواجهات مع العدو، وتميزت بالأداء السياسي والتفاوضي والميداني والعسكري”.

وأكد في تصريح مكتوب، اليوم الجمعة، أن لمعركة القدس انعكاسات واضحة على المشهد الإقليمي، وعلاقة المقاومة مع محيطها الإقليمي والدولي.

وبين أن رئيس المكتب السياسي لحركة “حماس”، أجرى سلسلة اتصال قبل وأثناء وبعد المعركة، كان لها ثمار سياسية مهمة.

وأضاف: “كان للأشقاء في مصر وقطر وكذلك الأمم المتحدة جهود حثيثة في وقف إطلاق النار، وكان واضحًا استجداء الاحتلال للمفاوضات ووقف إطلاق النار”.

وشدد على أن القدس جزء من الأرض الفلسطينية، وعلى الاحتلال أن يرفع يده عن القدس، مؤكدًا أن القدس ستبقى “صاعق تفجير في أي لحظة”.

وتابع: “حماس أثبتت أنها عندما تهدد فإنها تعي ما تقول، ولا تلقي بالكلمات جزافًا ولا هباءً، وتستطيع أن تثبت قولها بالفعل في الميدان”.

ولفت إلى ان المقاومة أصبحت تؤلم هذا الاحتلال، وتضرب عمق الاحتلال، وتفرض منع التجوال على سكان الأرض المحتلة.

وأكد: “ثبت للقاصي والداني أن المشاريع السياسية التي كانت على مدار على العشرين سنة الماضية، كانت عنصر تفرقة، وعنصر الإجماع هي القدس والمقاومة الفلسطينية”.

وأوضح: “المشروع الوطني الفلسطيني الحقيقي هو مشروع مقاومة، ونحن نريد تحرير أرضنا الفلسطينية المحتلة”.

وبيّن: “عندما ثارت المقاومة وأوجعت ضرباتها الكيان الصهيوني، هرول الجميع لوضع حلول للقضية الفلسطينية، لأن المقاومة أرغمتهم على ذلك”.

“حماس الخارج” تستكمل تشكيلتها القيادية

أعلنت حركة حماس في المنطقة الخارج، اليوم الجمعة، انتخاب بقية أعضاء قيادة الإقليم برئاسة خالد مشعل، ونائبه الدكتور موسى أبو مرزوق.

وقالت حركة المقاومة الإسلامية في بيان: “في ظلال انتصار شعبنا الفلسطيني ومقاومته الباسلة في معركة سيف القدس، في إطار استراتيجية الحركة في مقاومة الاحتلال الصهيوني، والعمل على تحقيق أهداف شعبنا في الحرية والتحرير والعودة”.

وأشارت الحركة إلى أن مجلس شورى إقليم الخارج، أجرى انتخاباته في الأيام الماضية.

وبينت “حماس الخارج” أن قيادة الإقليم، عقدت اجتماعها الأول، وتم توزيع المهام والمسؤوليات.

نتائج استطلاع رأي البقاء المالي الذي تم إجراؤه من قِبَل شركة Friends Provident International (FPIL), المُزوِّد العالمي للحماية والادخار وحلول الاستثمار التي تعمل في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وجزيرة مان وعبر آسيا، تكشف أن 57٪ من القوى العاملة الإماراتية غير مهيأة بما يكفي للعيش لمدة ثلاثة أشهر في حالة الإصابة بمرض خطير يتطلب عليهم ترك وظائفهم. وبشكل مذهل، أفاد أكثر من ربع الذين شاركوا في الاستطلاع أنهم لن يعيشوا حتى لمدة شهر.

استطلاع الرأي الذي تلقى ردودًا من أكثر من 1000 موظف في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة من مختلف فئات الجنس والعمر والدخل والجنسية والإمارة والحالة الاجتماعية، “إنه يُسلِّط الضوء على متوسط عدم استعداد الموظفين الإماراتيين للأمراض الخطيرة – لا سيما التأثير الذي يمكن أن يسببه المرض المُنهِك على المكاسب والبقاء المالي”، كما يقول ستيوارت شيلكوك، رئيس المبيعات للشرق الأوسط في Friends Provident International.

لماذا القلق بشأن الأمراض الخطيرة؟

إحصائيًا، من المرجح أن يتم تشخيص إصابة الموظفين بمرض خطير أكثر من الموت خلال حياتهم العملية.  الرجل الغير مُدخِّن البالغ من العمر 40 عامًا أكثر عرضة للإصابة بمرض خطير بأكثر من أربعة أضعاف من احتمال وفاته قبل سن 65 (المصدر: Pacific Life Re March 2018). ويُؤثِّر المرض الذي يُغيِّر الحياة بشكل كبير على القدرة على العمل، ويقلل – أو يُوقِف تمامًا – القدرة على الكسب.

وكما تُظهِر نتائج استطلاع رأي FPIL، “جميع الموظفين في الإمارات العربية المتحدة غير مستعدين بشكل محزن للعيش ماليًا إذا لم يتمكنوا من العمل”، كما يقول شيلكوك.

متاحة فقط من خلال شركات الاستشارات المالية المنظمة

UK HR group calls teachers to resist pressure for suppressing free speech on Palestine

A UK human rights group has recently called on teachers and head-teachers to resist pressures for suppressing free speech on Palestine.

In a letter addressed to teachers and school leaders in the UK, the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) called them to support free conversations and debates among UK students and to stop intimidating them.

“There have been many complaints from parents that their children have been reprimanded at school after making simple comments about Palestine, saying ‘Free Palestine’, wearing a Free Palestine badge or displaying a Palestinian flag. Some teachers have openly warned that such slogans could incite violence, as grounds for their suppression. There have been numerous media and social media reports of such cases across the UK. This suppression responds to pressures from the government and/or pro-Israel organisations,” IHRC said in the statement.

I warned that the suppression of free debate on Palestine jeopardizes the values of free expression and democratic rights.

“We call on all teachers and headteachers to resist such pressure for suppressing free speech on Israel/Palestine. This suppression jeopardises the educational values of independent thinking, free expression and democratic principles. Children’s right to freedom of expression is protected under Article 13 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The UK government has stated that existing laws already give effect to the rights stated in the UNCRC. The right to freedom of expression is enshrined in the Human Rights Act 1998 (HRA). Under UK law, children have the same fundamental right to freedom of expression as adults, this right is protected under Article 10 of the HRA. Schools have a duty to foster free speech and universal human rights, as proclaimed in the UN Charter. To deny such rights undermines everyone’s democratic rights. The responsibility of educating the next generation should be protected from such censorship.”

It warned that “such pressure on schools and teachers also aims to sow division between the UK’s Jews and Muslims. This effort deploys the untrue claim that all Jews are Zionist and support Israel. Our colleagues represent several Jewish organisations who support Palestinian rights and oppose Israeli atrocities and war crimes. Likewise, they include many people of Christian, Jewish, Muslim faith and people of no faith.”

It also condemned “the equation of antisemitism with anti-Israel statements,” as it stressed that “Every state should be open to criticism, especially one involved in crimes against humanity. Such crimes are currently under investigation by the International Criminal Court and have been frequently condemned by the UN General Assembly. To deny free speech on such issues delimits civic action against such crimes and for human rights.”

It said that while the UK Secretary of State for Education, Gavin Williamson, has sent headteachers a letter that schools should not ‘present materials in a politically biased or one-sided way’, he “promoted pro-Israel organisations such as Solutions Not Sides, Community Security Trust (CST) and Forum for Discussion of Israel & Palestine (FODIP). Their bias contradicts the principles of neutral and inclusive education. This is unacceptable to us and to parents concerned about pro-Israeli bias in the school system.”

It expressed readiness to “provide means for school students to frame anti-Israel sentiment in a positive anti-racist way, avoiding any conflict between religions.”

The IHRC statement came days after schoolchildren in the UK were punished for their pro-Palestine activism on school premises, with some being disciplined for wearing keffiyehs and holding Palestine flags.

The pupils, including some attending schools in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Rochdale and different areas of London, said that they were threatened with detention, expulsion and being blocked from taking their exams if they continued protesting for Palestinian rights on school premises.

The forms of activism penalized by schools include putting up posters designed by students to educate their peers on the Palestinian issue and displaying the Palestinian flag on face masks or their hands, with the Palestinian flag labeled by some head-teachers as a “symbol of anti-Semitism”.
