DETAILS OF THE CASE: According to the Complaint, the Company made false and misleading statements to the market. Y-mAbs repeatedly misled investors about its meetings with the FDA, claiming that it was making progress in demonstrating the effectiveness and efficacy of its drug candidate, omburtamab. What was unknown to investors was that the FDA had repeatedly advised Y-mAbs that the treatment of effect of omburtamab cannot be objectively established or quantified based on a comparison between Study 03-133 and an external cohort comprised of data from the Central German Childhood Cancer Registry (CGCCR) database because of substantial differences in the patient populations, and the absence of tumor response data, and that Study 101 was neither sufficiently advanced nor indicative of efficacy to justify approval. Further, Y-mAbs failed to advise investors that it had elected to submit the March 31, 2022 BLA prior to reaching agreement with the FDA on the content of the application. Based on these facts, the Company’s public statements were false and materially misleading throughout the class period. When the market learned the truth about Y-mAbs, investors suffered damages.

For 20th day, Palestinian prisoners continue disobedience measures against Israeli repression

For the 20th day in a row, thousands of Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons continue their civil disobedience measures against the repression campaign initiated by ultranationalist Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir.

Civil disobedience by the prisoners includes the closing of the different prison sections, stopping aspects of daily life, the wearing of a mandatory brown jail uniform and refusing to undergo the so-called daily security check-up.

On February 14, the Supreme Emergency Committee for Palestinian Prisoners Affairs announced the beginning of civil disobedience in response to an ongoing repression campaign by the Israeli prison authorities, including reducing the hours Palestinian prisoners can use the shower area to only one hour a day.

According to the Palestinian Detainees Affairs Commission, the civil disobedience measures will escalate to an open-ended hunger strike beginning on the first day of the upcoming fasting month of Ramadan.

Early in February, Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation jails issued a message to their people urging them to get ready for a significant uprising against the oppression campaign by Israel’s extremist National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

Ben Gvir announced on January 8 his decision to cancel a policy which allows any lawmaker in the Israeli Knesset to visit incarcerated Palestinians in prison.

Other abusive measures imposed by the Israeli Prison Service on the prisoners also include reducing the amount of water they use, and reducing the duration of showering so that prisoners are allowed to shower at a specific hour.

Since then, the Israel Prison Service (IPS) has begun moving inmates and transferring them between the 20 prisons used exclusively for Palestinian political prisoners.

Human rights organisations have long condemned Israeli prison authorities for their inhumane treatment of Palestinian prisoners.

Palestinians have been resorting to hunger strikes since 1968 to fight issues such as solitary confinement, denial of family visits, inadequate medical treatment, and other degrading conditions.

Currently, Israeli prisons are home to more than Palestinian political prisoners, including 160 children and some 30 women.

Three minors among seven Palestinians detained by occupation forces in West Bank

At least seven Palestinians, including three minors, were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces last night during raids in the occupied West Bank provinces of Ramallah and Hebron, according to Palestinian security and local sources.

In Ramallah province, forces raided the village of Beit Sira, where they arrested three Palestinian minors after raiding and searching their family homes. They were identified as Yaaqob Al-Hajj, Aziz Khattab, and Khalil Abu Safiya, and they range in age between 15 and 16 years old.

Israeli occupation forces also raided the town of Turmus Ayya, to the northeast of Ramallah, where they arrested a Palestinian young man and seized his vehicle.

In Hebron, south of the West Bank, Israeli forces raided the area of Sanjar, south of the city, and arrested Anas Nasri Jaaba, 21, and confiscated his vehicle.

Two more Palestinians were also arrested in similar raids by the Israeli occupation army in the nearby town of Sa’ir and the neighboring Al-Fawwar refugee camp.

Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
