Feeding on day of severe hunger project for poor in Dhale’ launched


The Zakat Authority Office in Dhale’ province has launched the feeding on day of severe hunger project for the poor and needy for 1445 AH.

At the inauguration in the presence of province’s public mobilization official Ahmed Thabet, Zakat office director in the province Ahmed al-Dahyani indicated that this project targets 1,600 poor and needy families in the city of Damt.

Al-Dahyani stated that the project comes within the annual Ramadan charitable projects adopted by the Zakat Authority during the holy month to embody solidarity, compassion, and standing by the poor and needy.

He urged everyone to feel responsible by contributing to doing good and benevolent to the poor and needy and meeting their needs, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.

Zakat Office in Ibb launches charitable kitchens, ovens project


The Office of the General Authority for Zakat in Ibb province has launched the charitable kitchens and ovens project of 1445 AH under the slogan (Your giving feeds the hungry).

During the inauguration, province undersecretary Yahya al-Qasimi hailed the charitable Ramadan projects of the Zakat Authority and the compassion and solidarity they embody to alleviate the suffering of the poor and needy during the month of Ramadan.

In turn, banks director at the Zakat Authority Branch Mohammed al-Naqeeb said the project comes within the framework of charitable activities, and the disbursement of Zakat in its legitimate banks.

The missile forces also launched a number of winged-missiles at Israeli targets in the Umm al-Rashrash area in southern occupied Palestine, that – thanks to Allah – have successfully hit their targets.

The Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of Allah Almighty, continue to perform their religious, moral and humanitarian duty towards the oppressed Palestinian people, and their military operations will not stop until the aggression is stopped and the siege on the Palestinian p

Solidarity stance of Petroleum company branch in Sana’a supports Palestinians


The branch of the Petroleum company in Sana’a province organized a stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The stand also supports the armed forces’ operations in the Red and the Arab seas and the Indian Ocean against ships linked to the Zionist entity or heading to the ports of occupied Palestine.

Participants denounced the crimes of the Zionist enemy against children, women and the elderly in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank supported by the United States and Western countries.

Antiquities Authority issues list of 50 antiquities that smuggled abroad


The General Authority of Antiquities and Museums in Sana’a issued the fifteenth issue of lists of lost antiquities that were looted, robbed, smuggled, and offered for sale in international auctions abroad, under the name ‘Our Looted Antiquities.’

The authority explained, in a statement issued by it, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), ‘that the list included the monitoring of fifty artifacts dating back to different time and historical periods that were smuggled out of the country, and are currently being displayed in more than one public auction in Israel, America, and the Emirates, Britain, Poland, Switzerland, Germany.”

The statement indicated that the Authority assigned a team affiliated with it to monitor and track the antiquities that are sold and displayed at international auctions, and then prepares lists and identifying information regarding those antiquities, their locations, and the exhibition halls in which the antiquities are displayed.

He stressed that the team is w
orking with some researchers abroad, whether Yemenis or foreigners, who are responsible for sending all information about the ancient Yemeni antiquities that are being displayed or sold, whether they are being sold abroad or being promoted for sale at home, based on social media , various media outlets, and monitoring and documenting them in a database and submit it to the competent authorities to enable them to request the return of these artifacts.

The statement stated that the number of antiquities that were robbed and smuggled out of the country from 1994 until today amounted to more than 13 thousand antiquities, including about eight thousand antiquities that were allegedly looted and smuggled out of the country during the period of the Saudi-Emirati aggression against Yemen, according to information and sources with… Commission.

The General Authority for Antiquities and Museums stressed its keenness to recover all looted Yemeni antiquities that are offered for sale in international auctions abroad,
and to place the Yemeni file on the destruction of Yemeni antiquities and smuggling them abroad on the list of upcoming priorities, since this file concerns the Yemeni people, and to tighten accountability for those responsible for the destruction of Yemeni antiquities and facilitate their smuggling to outside Yemen .

The statement stated that the Authority is tracking and monitoring these artifacts through its own team and reporting them to the competent authorities locally and internationally, providing them with all information about these artifacts and opening diplomatic channels to discuss the recovery of these Yemeni artifacts, as well as sending files from those lists to UNESCO, the organization concerned with the protection of World Heritage. It asked her to help recover looted Yemeni artifacts displayed in international auctions.

The statement indicated that the process of exhuming , stealing antiquities and smuggling them abroad during the current situation has increased due to the Saudi-Emirati aggression against Yemen, which has sought since its first days to target archaeological and historical sites, and to create a state of chaos to facilitate the task for weak souls, merchants, and antiquities thieves to transport them abroad in an attempt to erase Yemen’s historical and cultural identity.

The Commission has previously issued 14 lists of ‘our looted antiquities’ in the context of its tireless efforts to track looted and s
muggled Yemeni antiquities to Arab and foreign countries, auctions, and international museums.

The Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control continues field visits to monitor weighing and measuring tools in a number of provinces.

The authority explained in a statement issued today that field teams are carrying out a field trip to inspect and calibrate car gas filling stations in Amran province , meat and fish stores in Dhamar province.

The communication indicated that a field trip was carried out to monitor the weight, measure and measurement tools used in the buying and selling process and to verify the extent of their compliance with the approved standard specifications, as well as the extent of legal filling in gas filling stations and not to tamper with the filling pump measures and seals set by the Authority.

Ministry of Guidance condemns arbitrary measures against Yemeni pilgrims at Wadia crossing


The Ministry of Guidance and Hajj and Umrah Affairs condemned the arbitrary measures practiced against Yemeni pilgrims at the only land crossing between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.

The ministry explained in a statement received by Saba that these arbitrary measures by the mercenaries of the aggression and the Saudi side, led to an increase in the suffering of Umrah pilgrims who spend days and hours in the unprepared port, with the lack of services and the lack of necessities of life, as well as the death of some Umrah pilgrims from the severity of the suffering they are exposed to.

Ministry of Interior spokesman clarifies circumstances of what happened in Rada’a district in Al-Bayda


The spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Abdul Khaliq Al-Ajri, expressed the ministry’s regret over the painful incident in the city of Rada’a in Al-Bayda province, which resulted in the death of a number of security men and citizens.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Interior explained in a statement received by Saba that the incident, which occurred in the Rada’a district of Al-Bayda governorate, occurred as a result of a mistake by some security men during the implementation of a security campaign to pursue some saboteurs who attacked security men earlier, which led to the death of two security men and the injury of others.

While security agents were pursuing the saboteurs, some individuals used excessive and illegal force in an irresponsible response without returning and taking instructions from the security leadership or the Interior Ministry’s knowledge, he said.

Brigadier General Al-Ajri pointed out that the Ministry of Interior has formed urgent field committees to investigate
the details of the incident that took place in the Radaa district. He pointed out that the Minister of Interior directed to arrest the perpetrators involved in the incident and refer them to justice.

He stressed that the ministry will not tolerate the arrest of any transgressor of security men or members of the security institution in any region and anyone who violates the law or violates the ethics of security work and the obligations of the security man. He pointed out that the Minister of Interior also directed compensation for the families of the victims and those affected by the incident.

Brigadier General Al-Ajri pointed out that the Minister of Interior expressed regret for what happened in the Radaa district, stressing that the security men can only be protectors of the security and tranquility of the homeland and the citizen.
