Iraq local media: Iranian missiles over Iraq’s airspace


Iraqi local media broadcasted images of what are believed to be Iranian missiles passing through Iraqi airspace towards the Israeli occupation.

The Iraqi Al-Sharqiya satellite channel showed circulating video clips of two missiles passing through an Iraqi residential area, indicating that the two missiles were launched from Iran through Iraqi airspace and heading to towards the Israeli occupation.

No Iraqi official commented regarding this information.

Kuwait Airways: all airlines bound to, or departing from Int’l Airport to be diverted to new routes for safety


Kuwait Airways announced on Saturday that all airlines bound to Kuwait International Airport or departing from it would be diverted away from areas of tension, with flights scheduled according to their new routes.

In a statement, Kuwait Airways said the new measure comes in response to the security situation in the region and out of concern for the safety of its passengers.

“For inquiries, please contact the Customer Service Center (171). We are grateful to everyone for their understanding and cooperation,” the statement added.

Information Min. briefed on crisis management cmte over region development


Minister of Information and Culture Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi was briefed on the Ministry’s Crisis Management Committee regarding preparations to monitor the current developments in the region and review the procedures followed by the Ministry’s departments in this regard.

The Ministry’s official spokesman, Dr. Bader Al-Enezi, said in a statement to KUNA that the remarks were made during Minister Al-Mutairi’s chair of the committee meeting, Saturday, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Dr. Nasser Muhaisen, and the ministry’s senior leaders, where a special emergency plan has been setup and reviewed regarding monitoring developments in the region.

Al-Enezi stressed that the Ministry is fully prepared to keep pace with events, take precautionary measures, provide all information to citizens and residents, and follow up on media coverage up to date with accuracy, professionalism and transparency.

The spokesman added that media coverage is currently taking place through bulletins
, news summaries, news tape, radio stations, and the ministry’s accounts on social media sites.

Al-Enezi pointed out that the Ministry has taken all necessary measures and that it will not hesitate to deliver information with complete transparency and accuracy to the Kuwaiti public, calling on everyone to acquire information from its official sources.

Kuwait Amir receives minister, newly appointed governors


His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received, Sunday, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah at Al-Seef Palace.

His Highness the Amir also received Al-Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah, Al-Assima Governor Abdullah Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governor Sheikh Sabah Badr Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Al-Ahmadi Governor Sheikh Sabah Badr Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, and Al-Jahraa Governor Hamad Jassem Mohammad Mheisen Al-Habshi for their newly appointed positions as governors.

EgyptAir resumes flights to Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon


EgyptAir resumed on Sunday operating their flights to all airports in Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon.

The airlines announced on Saturday night suspending its flights to and from airports of Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon due to regional tensions and in light of the closure of airspace in these countries.

Iran State TV: widespread drones, missiles launched targeting Israeli occupation


Iran state television announced on Saturday the start of a “widespread” attack with drones and missiles targeting the occupied Palestinian territories in response to the bombing of the Iranian consulate in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

The television quoted a brief statement from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as saying, “dozens of drones and missiles were successfully launched at specific targets inside the occupied Palestinian territories in response to the Israeli occupation crimes, including the targeting of the Iranian consulate in Damascus.” Early this month, Syria announced the killing and wounding of a number of people, including senior commanders in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, as a result of the Israeli occupation attack to the Iranian consulate building in the Mezzeh neighborhood in Damascus.

Five Palestinians killed, 23 wounded in West Gaza


Five Palestinians, including a woman, were killed while 23 others wounded Sunday by Israeli occupation forces at Al-Rashid Street. The victims were attempting to return to the northern Gaza Strip, said Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).

The occupation forces, positioned near Al-Rashid Street, unleashed artillery fire, along with poison gas bombs, targeting those seeking refuge in Gaza City. Hundreds of citizens have been attempting to return to northern Gaza, utilizing the Wadi Gaza Bridge on Al-Rashid Street as their route.

Contrary to certain speculations on social media suggesting that the occupation forces had allowed displaced individuals to return under specific conditions, the displaced were instead confronted with gunfire and missile strikes.

Meanwhile, Palestinian health authorities in the Gaza Strip said in a statement released today that over the past hours, 43 Palestinians have lost their lives, with 62 more sustaining injuries in four separate massacres perpetrated by the occupation forces on the
191st day of the Israeli aggression.

The death toll resulting from the ongoing aggression since October 7 stands at 33,729 martyrs and 76,371 wounded, concluded the statement.

Air Algeria temporary suspends flights to Jordan, Lebanon


Air Algerie announced on Saturday, the temporary suspension of its scheduled flights to Jordan and Lebanon until further notice due to the deteriorating security conditions taking place in the Middle East.

In a statement, the airline company called on “all those concerned with the suspended flights to contact agencies or the company’s call center to obtain more information or to submit any inquiries about any developments.” The statement noted, “the decision to suspend came as a result of the developments taking place in the Middle East after the Iranian attack on the Israeli occupation sites

Flights from Turkiye to Iran, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon cancelled


Turkish governmental and private airlines companies announced Sunday the cancellation of all its scheduled flight to Iran, Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon, on Saturday and Sunday.

This decision was made after Iran launched a missiles and drones attack on the Israel entity late Saturday, causing the airspace in neighboring countries to close.

Anadulo Agency quoted sources in both companies as saying that the decision taken due to escalation witnessed between Iran and the Israel entity, adding that all flights to these destinations were redirected back to Istanbul.

On Saturday, Iran launched a massive missile attack on Israel with drones which led to a state of unrest in the region and suspension of operations in airports in the neighboring countries
