70 students of Martyrs’ Sons and Daughters honored

The Syrian-Russian Initiative for Peace honored 70 students of the Martyrs’ Sons and Daughters Schools from the primary stage, in a ceremony held in the Sahara resort in Damascus countryside.

The ceremony included lyric pieces and a short film about the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army Russia’s stances in support of Syria in its war against terrorism.

Director General of the Martyrs’ Sons and Daughters Schools, Lamis Rajab, indicated in her speech that the Martyrs’ Sons and Daughters Schools are an ancient institution concerned with the educational aspect of students.

She referred to the permanent care given by President Bashar al-Assad to the sons of the martyrs to be role models in society and contribute to the reconstruction of their country.

Salwa Shaaban, a member at the initiative, said that the event is a continuation of previous activities of the initiative to care for children and spread love, noting that the sons and daughters of the martyrs offer lessons in patience and tender so that Syria remains resistant.
