An Israeli travel ban, entry into West Bank of Jerusalem’s Palestinian governor extended by six months

An Israeli ban on travel and entry into the West Bank of Jerusalem’s Palestinian Authority governor, Adnan Ghaith, was today extended by six more months.

Ghaith told WAFA in a telephone call that he was informed of the extension of the ban by Israeli police who raided his Jerusalem home this morning.

He said this decision is one of four that get extended every four or six months, which include a ban on meeting 51 Palestinian figures, on top of the list is President Mahmoud Abbas, a ban on entering the West Bank, house arrest, and a ban on participating in any activity in occupied East Jerusalem.

Another Jerusalem activist, Nasser Hidmi, who is under house arrest in Jerusalem, was also informed today of a ban on travel outside the country for six months.
