The duo Ahmed Tijan and Cherif Younousse defeated the Philippines team 2-0 with a score of 21-9 and 21-7, to top Group B after two wins over Indonesia and the Philippines.
On Thursday, the Qatari beach volleyball team (2) qualified for the same round of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou after defeating Macau in Group F. (QNA)
