Child injured, arrested by Israeli forces near Hebron

A Palestinian child was shot, injured and arrested by Israeli occupation forces today in Al-Arroub refugee camp, in the occupied West Bank province of Hebron, according to Palestinian security and local sources.

The sources told WAFA that 12-year-old Ameer Mohammad el-Bess was shot by soldiers and injured in his lower limbs, before he was arrested by the forces and taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital in occupied Jerusalem, where he is currently held.

The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) said the child’s condition remains unclear so far, adding that Palestinian medics who arrived at the scene where the child was injured were not allowed to reach the child to provide him with first aid.
