Foreign ministry following up on cases of missing Palestinians in Turkey

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said the Palestinian embassy in Ankara and the Consulate-General of Palestine in Istanbul are following up on the cases of the missing Palestinians in Turkey.

The ministry in a statement said the Palestinian embassy has formed a crisis cell to follow up on the issue and reveal the fate of the six Palestinians who went missing in Turkey.

It said contacts are underway with official Turkish agencies to find out the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.

Six Palestinians went missing in Turkey since the beginning of this month; four in Istanbul, one in Konya city, and another near the Turkish-Greek border.
