Injuries in an assault by Israeli settlers in Hebron

HEBRON, Friday, A number of Palestinian civilians sustained light injuries on Friday evening when a group of Israeli settler extremists backed by an army escort assaulted them in the old city of Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank, WAFA correspondent said.

The settlers physically assaulted and beat up Palestinian civilians outside the Ibrahimi Mosque in the old city, lightly injuring some of them. The attack occurred in the presence of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF).

At least two Palestinians were detained by the IOF in the aftermath of the Israeli settlers’ attack.
