Israeli occupation forces raid West Bank town, hold and interrogate 24 residents before releasing them

Israeli occupation forces today raided the southern West Bank town of Surif, northwest of Hebron city, detained 24 of its residents for several hours before releasing them, according to local sources and the Palestinian Prisoner Society.

The soldiers raided several homes in the town during the early morning hours causing panic among the residents, rounded up 24 young men, most of them former political prisoners, held them handcuffed and blindfolded at a school in the town, interrogated them, and then released them, said the sources.

Israeli occupation forces daily raid Palestinian cities, towns, villages, and refugee camps, detaining dozens of people, holding some, and releasing others after interrogating them for hours or days.
