Israeli settlers continue their rampage on West Bank roads, attack Palestinian vehicles, close roads

Israeli settlers continued today their rampage on West Bank roads, attacking with stones Palestinian vehicles and blocking roads, according to local sources.

Mohammad Azem, mayor Sebastia town, told WAFA that a group of settlers stoned Palestinian vehicles near the military checkpoint of the illegal Israeli settlement of Shave Shamron, causing damages to some cars.

Settlers also closed off the road connecting the West Bank cities of Jenin and Nablus.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said that the Israeli forces have sealed off the archeological al-Masoudia area for several days, preventing the residents of its 12 houses from leaving it.

He added that the soldiers have also been besieging the village of Burqa for almost one month now and have closed the military checkpoint at the village entrance for two weeks, which prevents residents from accessing the main Jenin-Nablus road.
