Israeli soldiers injure, arrest a Palestinian in Hebron

Israeli occupation forces today shot, injured and arrested a Palestinian man near Al-Fawwar refugee camp, in the southern West Bank province of Hebron, according to Palestinian security sources.

The sources told WAFA that an Israeli army force stopped a Palestinian vehicle in the area and opened gunfire at its driver, injuring him with gunshots. The driver, whose medical condition remains unclear so far, was arrested by the attacking soldiers.

Meanwhile in Jenin, north of the West Bank, a Palestinian young man sustained injuries after being run over by an Israeli military jeep near Al-Jalama military checkpoint, Palestinian security sources said.

They told WAFA that an Israeli military jeep chased the young man, who was riding a motorcycle, and deliberately ran over him, injuring him in various parts of the body. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where his condition was described as moderate.
