Israeli soldiers pursue Palestinians in the north of the West Bank seeking to enter Israel for work

Israeli soldiers today pursued Palestinians seeking to enter Israel through its apartheid barrier in the north of the occupied West Bank in order to work, according to local sources.

They told WAFA that soldiers stormed several villages and towns in the Jenin district located near the barrier, firing sound bombs and rubber bullets at the Palestinians who were trying to cross the barrier to reach their workplaces in Israel.

No serious injuries were reported.

Thousands of Palestinian enter Israel on daily bases through checkpoints or openings in the apartheid barrier for work, mainly in the construction business.
