National Security Service arrests (10) accused of terrorism in four governorates

The National Security Service arrested (10) persons accused of terrorism in four governorates.

The Service’s statement stated that, based on accurate intelligence information, the National Security Service carried out a series of specific operations in the governorates (Nineveh, Salah al-Din, Anbar, and Baghdad), indicating that in Nineveh, and after the availability of information confirming the presence of (3) people from the wanted targets in the right side of the governorate, an elaborate ambush was set up and they were overthrown, and as a result, one of the leaders on the left side was found, who held the position of the so-called (military of the sector) and participated in launching terrorist attacks against the security forces.

It added, “As for the governorates of Anbar, Salah al-Din, and Baghdad, and after intensifying the intelligence effort, our detachments were able to arrest (6) suspects accused of terrorism, against whom judicial arrest warrants were issued.
