Occupation forces detain 7 Palestinians in West Bank


RAMALLAH: Israeli occupation forces detained at least seven Palestinian-including a woman-over the last night and this morning during military raids into several areas across the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

In Ramallah province, an Israeli army unit stormed Al-Jalazon refugee camp, where they detained three Palestinians, including a 33-year-old woman, Jehad Nakhla, after raiding their homes and tampering with their content.

In Jenin province, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Qabatiya and arrested two Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes.

During the raid, Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition at homes and parked vehicles, with no reports of injuries.

Meantime, an Israeli army force stormed Balata refugee camp in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, where they detained at least one Palestinian youth after besieging and raiding a home in the camp.

Simultaneously, in the southern province of Hebron, an Israeli military force stormed the town of Idhna, where they detained one Palestinian after raiding and searching his home.

Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches. The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
