Oil Minister reviews Petroleum and Mineral Training Center activities in Sana’a

The Minister of Oil and Minerals in the caretaker government, Ahmed Dares, reviewed today,Wednesday, the activities of the Petroleum and Mineral Training Center in Sana’a.

He also reviewed the center’s equipment , its contents of technical equipment and photographic machines provided by the Ministry of Oil and Minerals to the center in support of ensuring the continuation of its work in holding training courses for all units of the oil and mineral sector.

During the visit, the Minister stressed the importance of the center and its role in training and qualifying cadres working in the oil and minerals sector. He explained that the center contributed to the qualification and training of many Yemeni cadres in this sector in addition to workers in oil companies in Yemen over the years.

Daris stressed the importance of doubling the center’s efforts and expanding its training activity to include private sector cadres in addition to government oil and mineral sector cadres.

The Minister praised the cadres, capab
ilities and expertise that the Petroleum Training Center possesses, making it a leading position. He noted the Ministry’s keenness to provide all facilities to the Center to enable it to carry out its role to the fullest.

On the sidelines of the visit, the Minister of Oil and Minerals opened the computer laboratory, which includes 20 of the latest computers that are compatible with the requirements , needs of programs and systems related to the oil sector.
