MWL Condemns Israeli Occupation Ongoing Aggression in Gaza


The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the horrific war crimes that the Israeli occupation forces continue to commit in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, Secretary-General of the Association Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al Issa condemned the crimes taking place in the Gaza Strip, the latest of which was the discovery of mass graves in Nasser Medical Complex in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

He expressed his denunciation of the failure of the international community to stop these continuing violations of all humanitarian and international values and norms, which unleashed more brutality and exacerbation of human tragedies and destruction, renewing his call for the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities towards stopping mass killing and destruction.

Israeli Entity Intensifies Attacks on Southern Lebanon


The Israeli entity intensified its air strikes on villages and towns in southern Lebanon.

Field sources reported that Israeli warplanes launched two missile strikes on Wednesday, targeting the towns of Hula and Rab El Thalathine, adding that an Israeli Merkava tank fired shells towards the outskirts of the town of Alma Al-Shaab.

The Israeli entity continues its aggression against towns and villages in southern Lebanon, in parallel with its heinous and ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, resulting in casualties and injuries among civilians and forcing hundreds of families to flee their homes.

Israeli Occupation Forces Arrest 15 Palestinians in West Bank


The israeli occupation forces arrested at least 15 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank during the past 24 hours, including freed captives.

In a joint statement, Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and Palestinian Prisoners Society said that the arrests took place in Jenin, Nablus, Ramallah, Hebron and Occupied Jerusalem, adding that the occupation continues to carry out widespread incursions and destruction operations in governorates, refugee camps and towns. These arrests are accompanied by sabotage and destruction of Palestinians’ homes, and severe beatings practiced on the detainees and their families, the statement added.

The statement noted that the number of arrests in the West Bank has risen to about 8,445 cases, since the start of the israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, adding that these arrests included those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostag

The cities, towns and refugee camps of the occupied West Bank and Occupied Jerusalem are subjected to daily raids and incursions by the occupation forces and settlers, accompanied by clashes, arrests and shooting. These violations increased in conjunction with the ongoing israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Jamaica Announces Recognition of State of Palestine


Jamaica announced Wednesday its recognition of the State of Palestine, bringing the number of countries that recognize the State of Palestine to 142 countries.

“Jamaica continues to advocate for a two-state solution as the only viable option to resolve the longstanding conflict, guarantee the security of Israel and uphold the dignity and rights of Palestinians. By recognizing the State of Palestine, Jamaica strengthens its advocacy towards a peaceful solution,” Jamaica’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Kamina Johnson Smith said following deliberations in her country’s Cabinet.

“The decision is aligned with Jamaicas strong commitment to the principles of the Charter of the United Nations, which seek to engender mutual respect and peaceful co-existence among states, as well as the recognition of the right of peoples to self-determination,” she explained.

She continued reiterating Jamaicas concerns regarding the war in Gaza and the ever-deepening humanitarian crisis, together with the Government
s advocacy for a peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through diplomatic dialogue rather than military actions.

Jamaica’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade reaffirmed Jamaicas support for an immediate ceasefire, the release of hostages and increased access to humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza, especially the many women and children who are suffering daily.

“Jamaica continues to support all efforts for de-escalation and the establishment of lasting peace in the region, imploring all parties to consider the dire consequences of further conflict and commit to diplomatic solutions ensuring the safety and sovereignty of all,” she said.

Since 1988, 139 of the 193 UN Member States recognized the State of Palestine.

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left the capital Kathmandu on Wednesday after a state visit to friendly Nepal, at the conclusion of a tour that also included the friendly Republic of the Philippines, and the friendly People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

HH the Amir was seen off upon departure at Tribhuvan International Airport by HE President of Nepal Ram Chandra Poudel.

HH the Amir was also seen off by HE Vice-President Ram Sahaya Yadav, HE Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, HE Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha, HE Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Shakti Bahadur Basnet, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nepal Mishaal bin Mohammad Al Ansari, HE Ambassador of Nepal to the State of Qatar Naresh Bikram Dhakal, a number of senior officials in the Government of Nepal, and members of Qatar’s Embassy.

Executive Chairman of the National News Agency of Nepal (RSS) Dharmendra Jha underlined the importance of the memorandum of understanding singed between RSS and Qatar News Agency , saying that it establishes an important and pivotal stage for the media sector in his country.

HH the Amir, Prime Minister of Nepal Witness Signing of Agreements, MoUs


HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE Prime Minister of friendly Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal witnessed on Wednesday the signing ceremony of several agreements and memoranda of understanding and cooperation between the governments of both countries.

HH the Amir and HE the Prime Minister of Nepal witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of education, higher education and scientific research, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Public Prosecution in the State of Qatar and the Office of the Attorney General in Nepal, and a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of youth and sports.

They also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding in the field of culture and arts between the Ministry of Culture of the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal, an agreement on cooperation and news exchange between Qatar News Agency and the National News Agency of Nepal (RSS), a memoran
dum of understanding for cooperation in the field of diplomatic training and education between the Diplomatic Institute in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar and the Institute of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Nepal, as well as the renewal of the memorandum of understanding signed between Qatar Chamber and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce, and an agreement to establish a joint business council between Qatar Chamber and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce.

The signing ceremony in the capital, Kathmandu, was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation.

On Nepal’s side, it was attended by a number of Their Excellencies ministers and senior officials.

Russian Defenses Down 8 Ukrainian Drones


Russian defenses shot down eight Ukrainian drones over different areas of Russian territory.

Russian Defense Ministry said, in a statement, that attempts by the Kyiv regime to carry out a number of terrorist attacks using drones on facilities on Russian territories were thwarted.

Air defense systems destroyed eight Ukrainian drones (three of them over the territory of Kursk Oblast, two over Belgorod Oblast, two over Voronezh Oblast, and one over Smolensk Oblast), the statement added.

In recent months, Ukraine has intensified the frequency of attacks using drones on Russian regions.
