Palestinian institutions continue to provide for Turkey-Earthquake

The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Turkey, Faed Mustafa, said that Palestinian institutions and associations in Turkey continue to meet the needs of those affected by the major earthquake that struck the south of Turkey.

The head of the Palestine Charity Association, Zafer Asfour, announced the start of organizing a convoy of charitable aid to the stricken areas, which includes materials for heating and cleaning.

He said the convoy will go to the affected cities with teams of volunteers from Fatah movement and the General Union of Palestinian Students, confirming the official and popular Palestinian position to stand by the Turkish people.

Mustafa stated that the convoy was prepared in the states of Istanbul and Eskisehir, and that they were equipped with everything necessary to go to the affected areas in order to distribute them to the affected people.
