Pope Francis calls for establishing peace, ending Mideast conflict

Pope Francis said that peace must be established and the ‘Palestinian-Israeli conflict’ in the Middle East should be ended.

During Sunday mass, Pope Francis added that “a solution must be found with the help of the international community” to stop “the escalation of violence. Many people were injured and many innocent people were killed, including children. It is horrible and unacceptable.”

The Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, has risen to 218 while more than 5,604 people were wounded.
