President Mahmoud Abbas offered his condolences to President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping over the victims of the tragic floods as torrential rain lashed China’s central province of Henan.
President Abbas said he is following with great concern the catastrophic news about the floods that ravaged China’s central province of Henan, and which unfortunately have claimed the lives of many victims and caused severe financial damages.
“In the name of the State of Palestine and its people and in my name personally and through you, we extend to you and the friendly people of china our heartfelt condolences,” said president Abbas in a telegram.
He expressed full solidarity with the president and people of China through this ordeal and confidence in Xi Jinping’s wisdom and ability to overcome it, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
