Prime Minister: Israel occupation and settlers exchange roles in committing crimes against us

Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh said last night that the killing of the two Palestinian brothers Mohammad and Muhannad Muteir in a car-ramming attack by an Israeli settler is a heinous crime that reflects the belief preoccupying the thinking and behavior of the perpetrators.

The two brothers, who are residents of Qalandia refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem, were on their way back home from Nablus last night, and while they were fixing a puncture on the side of the road an Israeli settler deliberately rammed his vehicle into them and killed them.

Shtayyeh urged international human rights institutions “to place the perpetrators on the list of shame, and to bring them to international justice so that they receive their punishment, because their feeling of impunity makes them persist in committing their heinous crimes.”

The Prime Minister offered the parents of the two slain brothers, their families, the residents of Qalandia camp, and all of our people, the deepest condolences and sincere feelings of sympathy.
