Prisoners groups: Israel detained 375 Palestinians in July, including 28 minors and two women

The Israeli occupation government detained 375 Palestinians from the occupied territories during July, including 28 minors and two women, and issued 191 administrative detention orders out of which 65 were new orders and 126 renewals, according to prisoners’ advocacy groups.

The highest number of the detainees were from occupied East Jerusalem, said the groups, amounting to 128.

They said that Israel is currently holding 4550 Palestinian freedom fighters in its jails, including 27 women and 175 minors, while 670 Palestinians are held in administrative detention without charge or trial.

The Israeli military government detains an average of 15 Palestinians every day.
