During the first week of the holy month, the directorates of Sana’a governorate witnessed great momentum in reviving Ramadan councils and programs.
The Ramadan evenings and councils that were held in a number of villages and isolated districts of the governorate touched on the importance of strengthening faith identity and unifying efforts in alleviating the suffering of those in need and supporting the nation’s issues.
In this regard, the governor of Sana’a, Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, confirmed that the Ramadan gatherings are an important mobilization station for increasing the guidance of Allah Almighty.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), governor Al-Hadi noted the great interaction in holding Ramadan programs and councils this year, which reflects societal awareness of the importance of getting closer to Allah through obedience in the month of mercy and forgiveness.
He pointed out that the Ramadan councils are an opportunity to study and touch on the conditions of the poor and needy, and to coo
perate with the children and families of the martyrs, the wounded, the prisoners, and the missing.
He urged the exploitation of Ramadan gatherings, to mobilize efforts and energies to confront American arrogance and Zionist arrogance, as well as continuing mobilization, organizing ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ sessions, and strengthening steadfastness in the face of aggression.
While the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani, and the Governor’s First Undersecretary, Hamid Assem, pointed out the importance of the Ramadan program in refining souls and activating the role of society in achieving solidarity, consolidating faith identity, and spreading cultures of love and harmony among members of society.
They stressed the necessity of exploiting Ramadan councils to enhance societal awareness of the dangers of the conspiracies through which America, its ally Israel, and Britain seek to dismantle the social fabric and distort the position of the Yemeni people and their revolutionary leadership in supp
orting the Palestinian people, their valiant resistance, and defense of Islamic sanctities.
Participants in Ramadan gatherings are keen to benefit from the lectures of the leader of the revolution, al-Sayeed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, because of the guidance they contain in light of the challenges the nation faces and targeting by its enemies.
The month of Ramadan this year comes at a difficult stage that the nation going through as a result of the American-British Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip, and its continued targeting of the Yemeni people against the backdrop of its position in support of the brothers in Palestine.
Ramadan evenings, including lessons and lectures, represent an opportunity to exchange opinions, discuss situations, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among members of society.
Therefore, the people of the governorate are keen to attend these evenings and interact with Ramadan activities and lessons to strengthen their faith identity, connection to the Holy Qur’an
, and mobilization and mobilization to confront the enemies of the nation.
