The Central Committee of the “Fatah” Movement renews confidence in President Abbas

Baghdad Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) chaired, on Tuesday evening, a meeting of the Central Committee of the “Fatah” movement at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, where the meeting discussed a number of internal issues.

The official Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” reported that the Fatah Central Committee had unanimously renewed its confidence in President Abbas, head of the Fatah movement, as Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization and President of the State of Palestine, unanimously.

The Central Committee unanimously renewed its confidence in the central member of “Fatah”, Azzam al-Ahmad, representing the movement in the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.

In the same context, the Central Committee also unanimously elected its member Hussein Al-Sheikh as a candidate for the “Fatah” movement in the Executive Committee, and Rawhi Fattouh, unanimously, as a candidate for the Fatah movement for the presidency of the Palestinian National Council.
