Two Palestinians injured by Israeli gunfire in Halhul

Two Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire, one of them seriously, this evening during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Halhul, to the north of Hebron in the south of the occupied West Bank, according to the Ministry of Health.

MoH said in a press statement that one of the two was critically injured by a live shot in his chest, and was rushed to Hebron Public Hospital for medical treatment where his condition was described as critical.

The other one, the statement added, sustained a rubber-coated round in his eye, and his condition was described as stable.

The latest development comes less than two hours after Mahmoud Fayez Abu Ayhour, 27, a Palestinian from the town, was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces during the confrontations in the town.
