The security forces seized an amount of unlicensed weapons and ammunition in Maysan.
Maysan Operations Command said in a statement: “A force from the 97th Brigade of the Operations Command carried out a security operation to search a number of areas in Al-Kahla and Al-Maymoonah districts to limit weapons to the state and pursue those wanted by the judiciary.”
It added: “The operation resulted in the seizure of a large number of weapons and a quantity of unlicensed ammunition, which were duly confiscated.
