Unlicensed Weapons And Equipment Found In Baghdad

The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Saturday, that inspections for unlicensed weapons resulted in the finding of unlicensed weapons and equipment in Baghdad.

The Ministry said in a statement: “Inspections of unlicensed weapons carried out by units of the First Division, Federal Police, with the support of intelligence detachments, within the sector of responsibility of the Second Brigade in (Nahrawan) area, resulted in the seizure of (5 different types of rifles, a pistol, 37 Kalashnikov rifle rounds) , 7 rifle magazines, (BKC) with 1 ammunition container, 7 night sights.

The statement added: “The materials were duly seized by the force executing the duty.”
