Weather forecast: Cloudy conditions, isolated rainfall expected

Weather today is partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively hot to hot in daytime with a slight rise in temperature, which approaches 4°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather tonight is partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold in the mountains and mild in other districts. There is a chance of isolated rainfall with occasional thunderstorms, particularly in the south and center. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows in daytime, while moderate northwesterly wind blows in nighttime. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 28°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 24°C while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature is set to drop on Wednesday yet remains slightly unseasonably high with partly cloudy and moderate conditions in most districts and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley. Slightly cold conditions are expected in the morning and night hours. A slight chance of sporadic rainfall is expected in the early morning hours.

No significant change is expected in the weather conditions on Thursday.

Friday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 3°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to partly cloudy and relatively hot to hot conditions.
