Weather forecast: Partly cloudy skies, isolated rainfall expected

Weather today is partly cloudy and mild in the mountains and relatively hot in other districts in daytime, with a drop in temperature which approaches 6°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather is partly cloudy and relatively cold in the mountains and moderate in other districts in the morning and night hours. Chance of isolated light rainfall is still expected until the afternoon.

Moderate to active northwesterly wind blows in daytime, while light to moderate northwesterly wind blows in nighttime. Sea waves are medium to high in daytime and low in the night.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 21°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 24°C while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A significant rise is expected in temperature which remains slightly unseasonably low on Saturday, paving the way to partly cloudy to clear and moderate conditions in the mountains and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley. Slightly cold conditions are expected in the morning and night hours.

An additional significant rise is expected in temperature on Sunday, approaching 3°C above the seasonal average and paving the way to relatively hot conditions in the mountains and hot conditions in other districts, including the Jordan Valley. Moderate to slightly cold conditions are expected in the morning and night hours, especially in the mountains.

Monday’s temperature is set to drop and become seasonal, paving the way to clear to partly cloudy and moderate conditions in the mountains and relatively hot to hot conditions in other districts in daytime. Moderate to slightly cold conditions are expected in the morning and night hours.

PMD warns people against slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
