Weather: Hot weather conditions

Weather today is mostly is relatively hot to hot in daytime with no change in temperature, which remains 3°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather tonight is warm in most districts and moderate in the mountains. Winds are northwesterly and light to moderate, while sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature is expected to drop on Wednesday, yet remains slightly above the seasonal average, with partly cloudy to clear and relatively hot conditions in daytime and relatively warm to moderate conditions in the night.

No change in temperature is expected on Sunday, remaining slightly above the seasonal average. Relatively hot conditions are expected in daytime and moderate conditions in the night.

Similar weather conditions are expected on Monday.

PMD warns people against being exposed to sunlight for long period, especially from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and against setting fire to dry grassy areas.
