Weather: Rise in temperature, moderate to warm conditions

Weather today in Palestine is moderate to warm in the daytime with a rise in temperature, which nevertheless remains slightly below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are westerly to northwesterly and light to moderate, and sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 14°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 23°C and a low of 13°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 20°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 18°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A significant rise in temperature is expected on Monday approaching 2°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to relatively hot and dry conditions to prevail.

Temperature is expected to drop on Tuesday through Wednesday, returning to its seasonal average. Moderate conditions are expected to prevail in daytime, while cold conditions prevail at nighttime.
