أعلنت وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية في غزة، اليوم الأربعاء، عن تسجيل حالتي وفاة و71 إصابة جديدة بفيروس “كورونا” في قطاع غزة خلال الـ 24 ساعة الماضية.

وقالت الوزارة في تقريرها اليومي بشأن جائحة “كورونا”، إن عدد العينات الجديدة التي جرى فحصها خلال هذه الفترة بلغت 658 عينة، في حين سجل تعافي 85 حالة جديدة من المصابين.

وأوضحت أن الإجمالي التراكمي للمصابين منذ آذار/ مارس 2019 بلغ 115 ألفا و409 إصابات، منها 1442 حالة نشطة، وتعافي 112 ألفا و889 حالة، وتسجيل 1078 حالة وفاة.

وكشفت الوزارة أن إجمالي الحالات التي تحتاج إلى رعاية طبية داخل المستشفى بلغت 42 حالة، وأن إجمالي الحالات الحرجة والخطيرة 26 حالة.

وبشأن التطعيمات أكدت الوزارة أن إجمالي الجرعات التي وصلت قطاع غزة بلغت 226 ألفا و300 جرعة، مشيرة إلى أن إجمالي الأشخاص الذين تلقوا اللقاح بلغ 92 ألفا و653 شخصا.

استنكر رئيس الدائرة الإعلامية، في حركة المقاومة الإسلامية “حماس” بالخارج، هشام قاسم، “ازدواجية المعايير التي تنتهجها إدارة الفيسبوك، في محاربتها للمحتوى الفلسطيني، فيما تطلق العنان للصفحات الإسرائيلية التي تدعو للعنصرية والكراهية”.

وعدّ “قاسم”، في تصريح خاص لـ”قدس برس”، تعليقا على إغلاق إدارة الفيسبوك صفحة وكالة شهاب الإخبارية، التي يتابعها أكثر من سبعة ملايين شخص، أنها خطوة “تتزامن مع المساعي الإسرائيلية في طمس الرواية الفلسطينية، وتغييب الصورة الحقيقية عن انتهاكات الاحتلال عن العالم”.

وشدد القيادي في “حماس”، على أن هذه “السياسة التعسفية والظالمة، التي تنتهجها إدارة الفيسبوك، منافية لكل المواثيق والمعاهدات الدولية، التي تنص على احترام حرية الرأي والتعبير، وتشكل اعتداء سافرا على حق البشر، بإبداء رأيهم بحرية في قضايا عامة”.

وطالب “قاسم”، “إدارة الفيسبوك بالاستقلالية والإنصاف، وعدم التماهي والانحياز مع الراوية الإسرائيلية التحريضية، ضد المحتوى الفلسطيني، ومحاولات اجتثاث الرواية الفلسطينية بشكل كامل، والتغطية على جرائم الاحتلال”.

وحثّ الشباب العربي والفلسطيني على “مواجهة تغول وقرصنة إدارة الفيسبوك، بابتكار منصات بديلة، وإطلاق حملات إلكترونية ضد عنصرية الفيسبوك”.

وسبق استهداف صفحة وكالة “شهاب”، إغلاق إدارة “الفيسبوك” العشرات من الصفحات، التي تتبع مؤسسات صحفية فلسطينية وشخصيات مؤثرة، وأخرى داعمة للقضية الفلسطينية.

يشار إلى أنه خلال عام 2020، وثق مركز “صدى سوشال” 1200 انتهاك بحق المحتوى الرقمي الفلسطيني على شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي.

وفي 2018، أعلنت ما يسمى وزارة “القضاء” الإسرائيلية أن إدارة “فيسبوك” استجابت عام 2017 لنحو 85 بالمئة من طلبات “إسرائيل”، لإزالة وحظر وتقديم بيانات خاصة بالمحتوى الفلسطيني على الموقع.

حذّر مدير عام الرعاية الصحية الأولية في وزارة الصحة برام الله كمال الشخرة، اليوم الأربعاء، من أن أراضي السلطة الفلسطينية على أعتاب موجة رابعة من فيروس “كورونا”.

وأكد في حديث لإذاعة “صوت فلسطين” (حكومية) وجود ارتفاع في الحالات المصابة، مشيرا إلى أنه “لا يوجد استقرار كما كان قبل 3 أو 4 أسابيع”.

وقال: “تقريبًا من أسبوعين بدأ الفيروس بالانتشار وأخذنا عينات من كافة مناطق الضفة، ووجدنا أن هناك 50 حالة من حالات المتحور دلتا (الطفرة الهندية) موجودة في فلسطين”.

وأضاف “الدول المجاورة لنا أصبح لديها طفرات جديدة وانتشار واسع ودخول أكبر للمشافي، ونحن نطالب المواطنين بضرورة الالتزام بالإجراءات الوقائية”.

ولفت الشخرة إلى وجود عزوف لدى المواطنين عن إجراء فحوصات “كورونا”، لذلك فإن الحصيلة التي تخرج يوميا عن وزارة الصحة بعدد المصابين، لا تعكس حالة المصابين على أرض الواقع.

وطالب في ذات السياق المواطنين بالتوجه لتلقي اللقاحات لحماية أنفسهم وعائلاتهم من الفيروس وطفراته الجديدة.

ووفق أرقام وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية، بلغ إجمالي عدد المصابين في فلسطين منذ بدء تفشي “كورونا” 344 ألف و166 شخص مصاب، بينهم 338 ألف و714 حالة تعافي، و3851 حالة وفاة.

ويبلغ عدد الفلسطينيين من تناولوا جرعات من لقاحات مضادة للفيروس في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة 552 ألف و692، بينهم 394 ألف و413 تلقوا الجرعتين من اللقاح.

أصيب شاب فلسطيني بالرصاص الحي واعتقل 12 آخرين، اليوم الأربعاء، خلال حملة مداهمة وتفتيش نفذها جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي شمال الضفة الغربية المحتلة.

وقال موسى حمايل نائب رئيس بلدية “بيتا” جنوبي نابلس (شمال الضفة الغربية المحتلة)، في تصريحات صحفية، إن قوات الاحتلال اقتحمت البلدة، فجرا، وداهمت عدة منازل وفتشتها، واعتقلت 11 شابا.

وأشار إلى أن من بين المعتقلين ثلاثة شبان مصابين جراء المواجهات على جبل “صبيح”، بينهم شاب أصيب سابقاً بالرأس ويحتاج لمواصلة العلاج، واثنين مصابين بالرصاص في الأرجل، ويستخدمان العكازات في المشي.

وفي السياق ذاته، أصيب شاب فلسطيني بالرصاص الحي خلال مواجهات اندلعت بين قوات الاحتلال والشبان في مخيم “الفارعة” للاجئين الفلسطينيين جنوب طوباس، فيما اعتقل آخر.

وأفاد مدير نادي الأسير في طوباس كمال بني عودة، بأن شابا أصيب برصاصة حية في القدم اليسرى، نقل على إثرها إلى المستشفى.

وأضاف أن الاحتلال اعتقل المواطن بدر عوض العايدي (34 عاما)، خلال المداهمة.

وأشار بني عودة إلى أن الاحتلال داهم منزلي المواطنين محمد عوض العايدي، ويوسف خليل برية، وعاث فيهما خرابا.

اقتحم 230 مستوطنا باحات المسجد الأقصى المبارك، اليوم الأربعاء، بحراسة شرطة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.

وأفادت دائرة الأوقاف الإسلامية بالقدس، بأن المستوطنين اقتحموا على شكل مجموعات ضمت كل مجموعة نحو 20 مستوطنا المسجد الأقصى، وتجولوا في باحاته ونفذوا جولات استفزازية.

وأشارت إلى ان 25 شرطيًا إسرائيليًا اقتحموا المصليات المسقوفة بالمسجد، كما أدى المقتحمون اليهود طقوسًا تلمودية في المنطقة الشرقية من المسجد، ما أثار استفزاز الحراس والمصلين.

وتأتي عمليات تكثيف اقتحامات المستوطنين وقادتهم، تزامنًا مع استعدادهم لاقتحام الأقصى في 18 تموز/ يوليو الجاري بمناسبة ما يسمى ذكرى “خراب الهيكل”، تواصلت الدعوات المقدسية لتكثيف شد الرحال في المسجد والاعتكاف داخله لصد تلك الاقتحامات.

وتسمح شرطة الاحتلال للمستوطنين اليهود باقتحام “الأقصى” على فترتين؛ صباحية ومسائية تستمر عدة ساعات.

ويتعرض المسجد الأقصى لاقتحامات إسرائيلية مستمرة من المستوطنين وشرطة الاحتلال، ومحاولات لمنع إعماره، فضلًا عن فرض قيود مشددة على رواده.

ومنذ احتلال مدينة القدس عام 1967، تسيطر سلطات الاحتلال على مفاتيح باب المغاربة، ومن خلاله تنفذ الاقتحامات اليومية للمستوطنين وقوات الاحتلال.

Israeli forces Wednesday morning dismantled 11 residential structures in the Bedouin community of al-Qabbun, northeast of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to media sources.

Fares Ka‘abneh, a media activist, told WAFA that a sizable Israeli military unit escorted lift lorries to the community, located near the village of al-Mughayyer, demolished 11 residential structures and seized their contents.

The soldiers also seized tractors, water tankers and solar power units.

The Israeli occupation authorities have been targeting the Bedouin communities, north and east of Ramallah, for decades in order to displace them and make room for colonial settlement construction that separate the Jordan Valley from the West Bank.

Palestine today confirmed 86 new Covid-19 cases and two deaths, according to Health Minister Mai al-Kaileh.

She announced that 86 Palestinians tested positive for the highly contagious virus and two others died of it in the occupied territories.

Among the new 86 cases, 15 cases were recorded in the West Bank and 71 others in the besieged Gaza Strip.

She identified the death cases as residents of the besieged Gaza Strip. No death case was recorded in the West Bank.

She added that 99 Covid-19 patients recovered; 14 recovery cases in the West Bank and 85 others in the Gaza Strip.

She pointed that six Covid-19 patients are getting treatment in intensive care units, and 13 others are currently receiving treatment at hospitals and Covid-19 dispensaries.

She said that the recovery rate in Palestine has so far reached 98.4 percent, while active cases declined to 0.5 percent. The death toll stood at 1.1 percent of total infections.

Regarding the Covid-19 vaccination rollout, al-Kaileh said that 566,749 people have received their first jab of the vaccine in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, including 396,652 people who received the second dose of the vaccine.

The German Representative Office in Ramallah and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) handed over specialized medical equipment in support of critical health facilities in the West Bank to the Minister of Health, Mai Alkaila, today.

According to a press release from the German Representative Office, the support provided is part of the €17 million Investment Program for Resilience (IPR) implemented across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip financed by Germany through its Development Bank (KfW).

Alkaila thanked the Federal Republic of Germany for the continuous support provided to the Ministry of Health.

“Today we received a shipment of medical equipment as part of the €17 million Investment Program allocation, which also supports the provision of temporary human resources from different specializations,” she added.

The $1.3 million worth of medical equipment included Computed Tomography (CT) Scan, Digital Radiography Machine, C-Arm X-Ray, bedside monitors, defibrillators monitor, suction machines, emergency patient beds (stretcher), real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) with software and computer, Automatic PCR System, and a fully automated Chemistry Analyzer.

“Germany has supported Palestine in times of crisis when Corona hit the region. Today, we are glad to hand over crucial equipment and to contribute to the long-term capacities of the Palestinian health sector”, Michael Herold, Acting Head of the German Representative Office stated.

The medical equipment provided will be distributed across 16 health facilities and will enhance the Ministry of Health’s efforts to provide access to healthcare services, particularly COVID-19 response, to approximately 240,000 patients per month.

UNDP Special Representative of the Administrator, Yvonne Helle, acknowledged the longstanding partnership UNDP has with Germany in support of the Palestinian People.

She highlighted that “COVID-19 has further deepened Palestinian vulnerabilities. This program will not only address the health needs but it will also develop capacities and generate much-needed employment for the people whose lives are most at risk. This new contribution will enable us to respond to the socio-economic impacts of the pandemic and build a better future together. Our transformative resilience approach is a key component in the sustainably of this program and its impact on the lives of tens of thousands of people.”

In addition to the handing over of medical equipment, the ceremony included touring the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah, visiting the new CT-scan section, and meeting some of the health workers that were deployed and skills developed under the Investment Program for Resilience. Through the program, 1,050 health workers (45% women), including doctors, nurses, and lab technicians, were deployed so far of which 837 are in the West Bank and 231 are in Gaza, generating approximately 147,468 workdays over an eight-month period.

This is not the first time that support is provided through the IPR during the pandemic. In December 2020, the program provided laboratory supplies and testing kits that allowed for 23,000 tests to be carried out as a response to the COVID-19 outbreak in the Gaza Strip.

The Investment Program for Resilience (IPR) is a €17 million program funded by the Government of Germany through its Development Bank (KfW), supports Palestinian communities respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, mitigates the medium to longer-term socio-economic effects in the areas of health and employment, and enhances access to sustainable and quality services. The program targets most of the Palestinian population across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.
