Checking out sea gate project work progress for fishing port in Hodeida


The Director of the Agricultural , Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit, Yahya Al-Wadaei, inspected the progress of work on the sea gate project for the fishing port in Hodeida.

Al-Wadaei heard from those in charge of the project, funded by the Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit in the province, at a cost of 250 million riyals, about the efforts made to complete it , the implementation mechanism in accordance with the agreed-upon specifications, and to ensure facilitating the movement of fishermen’s boats to and from the port.

Al-Wadaei stressed the speed of completion of the project. Given the importance it represents in improving the infrastructure of the fish sector and serving fishermen.

He indicated that the visit comes within the framework of the unit’s efforts to monitor the level of achievement in fish projects, which are being implemented with the support of the Projects and Initiatives Finance Unit.

Discussing procedures for controlling meat selling prices in Sana’a


A meeting in Sana’a province, headed by the province’s undersecretary for the services sector, Fares Al-Kahali, discussed procedures for controlling meat selling prices in it.

In the meeting, Al-Kahali stressed the necessity of adhering to the new pricing, and coordinating with the concerned authorities in the capital secretariat, taking into account the citizens’ circumstances, especially with the decline in livestock prices.

He directed the concerned authorities to follow up on the implementation of the new price list and implement it, and to monitor and control any violations, stressing the keenness of the local authority leadership to maintain the new price list and not violate it, urging sellers to adhere so that legal penalties are not taken against them.

At the meeting, the director of the branch of the General Corporation for Slaughterhouses in the province, Sharaf Al-Jawfi, reviewed the difficulties and problems faced by the corporation’s branch, as a result of the lack of unification of the price
list in the province and the capital secretariat, especially in the overlapping areas.

Al-Jawfi explained that the approved price list stipulated the upper limit for the prices of all types of meat, and it was approved several months ago, in agreement with meat sellers in the province, but the new price list in the capital secretariat was approved for an increase in price compared to what is in the governorate.

Distributing aid to 697 kidney patients


The Rawahel Foundation for Development in Hodeida Governorate concluded the Ramadan charitable project to distribute food baskets and financial aid to patients with kidney failure, thalassemia, and the blind in the governorate.

Discussing preparations to commemorate National steadfastness Day in Sana’a


A meeting in Sana’a province, headed by the Governor’s First Undersecretary, Hamid Assem, discussed preparations for commemorating the activities of the National Day of steadfastness in the aggression face.

Discussing mechanism for activating management tasks,implementation team for development and cooperative work in Sana’a


A meeting in Sana’a province discussed the mechanism for activating the work of the central development team in the province, concerned with following up development work and community initiatives in the province and districts.

The meeting, which included the province’s advisor, Abdullah Al-Marouni, and members of the province’s development team, reviewed the matrix of executive procedures for Sayyed Leader’s directives, related to the agricultural aspect, within the framework of the competencies of the local authority agencies in the province.

The attendees also reviewed the tasks assigned to the team, which includes a number of service offices in the province, and aspects of coordination between the executive offices and their branches in the directorates to activate the team’s performance and implement the tasks assigned to it.

They stressed the necessity of implementing the vision for activating development and cooperative work within the province, submitting periodic reports to the central technical t
eam and raising problems immediately, training the directorate teams on the work and approved curricula, implementing the activities and procedures of the executive plan issued by the development team, and going out to the field to supervise the development teams on the directorate level, facilitating their tasks, monitoring successful experiences, highlighting them, and honoring those who carried them out.

The meeting pointed out that the aim of it is to begin implementing the outcomes of the workshop related to activating development and cooperative work at the province and district levels

Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa said her ministry is in the process of expanding early intervention units to cover all parts of the Kingdom, as part of a shelter alternatives strategy it is implementing.

She said at a Ramadan Iftar banquet Monday at the Jerash Care Centre for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, in the presence of local officials, that services to persons with disabilities across the Kingdom have remarkably been developed as the ministry continues to provide best service in this respect.

She said the Jerash Center offers quality accommodation service for the cases it receives, most of which are severe disability, as it provides physical and occupational therapy, speech pathology, and special education through a qualified staff.

The minister toured the facilities of the center and was briefed by its management on services it offers to 219 beneficiaries.

Separately, Mustafa met with the beneficiaries of the Shafa Badran Boys Care and Protection Home, and was briefed
on its services and needs.

Israeli army detains 30 Palestinians in massive campaign across West Bank

RAMALLAH: Israeli occupation forces Monday detained 30 Palestinians, including former prisoners, in an ongoing massive Israeli detention campaign across the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

PPS said that the detention campaigns were concentrated in Jalazoun camp, north of Ramallah, including a number of Gaza workers, while the rest of the detentions took place in the governorates of Hebron, Tulkarm, Nablus, Jenin, and Tubas.

Meanwhile, the detention campaigns were accompanied by widespread abuse, severe beatings, and threats against the detainees and their families, added PPS.

The total number of Palestinians, including children, women and elderly men, rounded up after October 7 surged to about 7,800 persons.

Furthermore, the Israeli army continues to carry out the crime of enforced disappearance against detainees in the Gaza Strip, as the occupation refuses to provide human rights institutions with any details regarding their fate ot their places of detention.
