33 Killed As Floods Sweep Afghanistan


Kabul, At least 33 people were killed as heavy rains and floods swept many Afghan provinces, a spokesperson for the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority said on Sunday.

Janan Saeq added that 27 others sustained injuries due to the heavy rains that have been deluging 20 of the country’s 34 provinces, including the capital Kabul, since Friday.

The floods damaged 600 houses and destroyed 800 hectares of agricultural lands and 580 kilometers of roads besides killing 200 cattle, Saeq added.

Algeria, Palestine Prime Ministers Talk Latest Developments in Palestinian Territories


Algiers, Algeria’s Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui discussed Sunday with his Palestinian counterpart Mohammad Mustafa the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, especially the Gaza Strip.

The meeting in Algiers tackled the repercussions of the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.

The visiting Palestinian Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for Algeria’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their just cause, and the tireless efforts it is making to immediately stop the brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid, in addition to mobilizing support for the State of Palestine to obtain a full United Nations membership.

Israeli Shelling Kills 5 IDPs Returning to Northern Gaza Strip


Gaza, Israeli occupation killed five internally displaced Palestinians, including a woman, and injured others on their way home in northern Gaza Strip, local sources said on Sunday.

The Israeli occupation forces stationed near Al Rashid Street targeted the victims with artillery shells, fire, and poison gas bombs.

To date, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the war-torn enclave since Oct. 7 has left 33,729 martyrs and 76,371 wounded, while thousands of victims remain under the rubble.

Death Toll from Israeli Aggression on Gaza Rises to 33,729 Martyrs


Gaza, The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced Sunday that the Israeli occupation forces had committed 4 massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing 43 and injuring 62 others.

In a statement today, the ministry said that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7 has risen to 33,729 martyrs in addition to 76,371 wounded, most of whom were women and children.

For the 191st day, The unprecedented Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip continues via land, air, and sea, destroying infrastructure and resulting in an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy, as hundreds of thousands of the Strip’s residents live in extremely difficult conditions in light of the lack of water and electricity as the occupation authorities prevent humanitarian aid from reaching them.

Second Ministerial Meeting of GCC, Central Asian Strategic Dialogue to Convene Monday


Riyadh: The second ministerial meeting of the Strategic Dialogue between the GCC countries and Central Asian states will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Monday.

Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohammed Albudaiwi said that the meeting confirms the desire of the two sides to boost relations, and their keenness to strengthen strategic dialogue and work to serve their common interests, in accordance with their shared values, interests, and historical ties, and with the Joint Action Plan for the period 2023-2027, they signed in September 2022.

Albudaiwi added that the discussions will focus on ways to enhance relations between the two sides, in addition to regional and international developments.

Iran Announces Ending Military Operation Against Israel


Tehran, Iran has no intention of continuing the operation against Israel, and the operation has been concluded, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri said on Sunday according to Iran’s news agency (IRNA).

The operation was conducted because the Israeli regime had crossed Iran’s red line and it was unacceptable, Baqeri added.

He stressed that the operation came in response to an action that should have been responded to, indicating that his country had no intention of continuing the operation against Israel, and that the operation had ended and was a punishment, warning that Iran’s response to any action would be much greater.

Iran had previously announced that its forces carried out a series of military attacks against the military bases of the Israeli entity.

Kuwait, The State of Kuwait voiced its grave concern about the continued military escalation in the region and its increasing negative repercussions on the security and stability of the region’s countries and the entire world. In a statement issued by the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday, the Sultanate reiterated its call for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and opening humanitarian and relief aid corridors to all parts of the Strip without obstacles.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Calls on Security Council to Impose Halt to Israeli Aggression on Gaza


Amman, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stressed that halting the escalation of Israeli aggression on Gaza is a regional and international necessity requiring the Security Council to assume its responsibilities in protecting security and peace, imposing a ceasefire on Gaza, and respecting international law.

In a statement to Jordan’s Petra on Sunday, Safadi called for the swift cessation of the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the start of implementing a comprehensive plan to end the Israeli occupation and achieve a just peace on the basis of the two-state solution, stressing that it is the only way to stop the dangerous escalation witnessed in the region.

He warned that the continuation of the aggression is pushing the region towards further regional escalation, the repercussions of which will threaten regional and international security and stability. He also stressed the need for international efforts to de-escalate and protect the entire region from its consequences.

The Jordanian Foreign Minister
underlined that Jordan will continue its efforts to halt the aggression on Gaza and regional escalation, and will work with the international community to launch a real and effective move to implement the two-state solution as the only way to achieve security, stability, and just peace in the region.

Israeli Forces Intensively Shell Southern Lebanon


Beirut, The Israeli entity forces continued their intense shelling of villages and towns in the eastern part of southern Lebanon, from Saturday evening until Sunday morning.

In the Marjeyoun district, Israeli forces launched fierce raids on Khiam, Kfarkela, and Al Adisa. It also launched violent artillery shelling on Houla, Wadi Saluki, Khiam, and the vicinity of Deir Mima in Deir Mimas, and the course of the Litani River.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that one person was killed and several others were injured in the raid on Khiam.

The skies over the eastern part witnessed intense Israeli warplane activity and non-stop drone flights, in addition to the explosion of interception missiles in the air.

Israel continues to escalate its attacks on towns and villages in southern Lebanon, in conjunction with its ongoing and brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7th.
