JORDAN VALLEY, Palestinian farmers in the northern Jordan Valley said today that Israeli settlers let their cows run loose in their agricultural land in order to destroy them.
Activist Aref Daraghme said that for the second day in a row, settlers from a nearby illegal settlement outpost let their cows roam in the farms in the Makhoul and Hadidieh communities in order to destroy the crops planted by the local Palestinian farmers.
He said the settlers intentionally steer their livestock into that area in order to destroy the crops.
The settlers are always armed and protected by the Israeli army, which prevents the local farmers from confronting them.
