Shtayyeh calls on UNICEF, UN bodies to follow up on latest Human Rights Watch report

Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh called on UNICEF and various United Nations bodies to follow up on the latest Human Rights Watch report, in which it accused the Israeli authorities of committing crimes of apartheid against Palestinians.

Shtayyeh said during a meeting with Ted Chaiban, UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, in his office in Ramallah, that the Israeli crimes against Palestinian children demand greater efforts by international organizations in order to prevent Israel from continuing with its violations and from remaining above the international and humanitarian laws.

He further stressed the need to form an international front to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories.
