2 Palestinians injured in confrontations with occupation forces at entrance to Al-Bireh

Confrontations erupted this evening between Palestinian protesters and Israeli occupation forces at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

The Israeli occupation soldiers fired teargas canisters and rubber-coated rounds at the Palestinian protesters. At least two Palestinians were injured by Israeli fire, and were moved to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

The confrontations erupted against the backdrop of Israel’s crimes against the Palestinian people, the latest of which was the killing yesterday of Palestinian youth Udai Tamimi outside the Israeli settlement of Maale Adumim, east of Jerusalem.
