Jewish extremists write hate slogans calling for death to Christians at Armenian Patriarchate in Jerusalem

Jewish extremists wrote hate slogans in Hebrew on the walls of the Armenian Orthodox Patriarchate in the Old City of Jerusalem calling for death to Christians and Armenians, according to sources.

The slogans said: “revenge”, “Death to Christians”, “Death to the Armenians”, and “Death to Arabs and Gentiles”.

The Patriarchate filed a complaint with the police, who said they will investigate this case.

Earlier this year, Jewish extremists were caught on camera vandalizing gravestones and crosses at the Protestant cemetery, not far from the Armenian Patriarchate in Jerusalem.

Palestinian shot in the head by Israeli soldiers and reported critical has died of his wounds

A Palestinian identified as Habib Mohammad Ikmail, 25, from the town of Qabatiya, near the northern West Bank city of Jenin, who was earlier shot in the head by Israeli soldiers and reported in critical condition at a hospital in Jenin has died of his wounds, according to the Ministry of Health.

A second Palestinian shot in the chest remains in critical condition at hospital.

Reports from Qabatiya said soldiers raided the town and surrounded a house of an activist.

During the raid, a heavy exchange of gunfire was reported leading to five injuries among the Palestinians from Israeli army gunfire, one of them has died and another is in critical condition at hospital in Jenin with gun wounds to the neck and chest, according to the Ministry of Health.

Ikmail is the second Palestinian to be shot and killed today by Israeli soldiers and the eighth since the start of the year.

Earlier this morning, soldiers killed Samir Aslan, 41, a father of eight, during an army raid of Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem.

An Israeli travel ban, entry into West Bank of Jerusalem’s Palestinian governor extended by six months

An Israeli ban on travel and entry into the West Bank of Jerusalem’s Palestinian Authority governor, Adnan Ghaith, was today extended by six more months.

Ghaith told WAFA in a telephone call that he was informed of the extension of the ban by Israeli police who raided his Jerusalem home this morning.

He said this decision is one of four that get extended every four or six months, which include a ban on meeting 51 Palestinian figures, on top of the list is President Mahmoud Abbas, a ban on entering the West Bank, house arrest, and a ban on participating in any activity in occupied East Jerusalem.

Another Jerusalem activist, Nasser Hidmi, who is under house arrest in Jerusalem, was also informed today of a ban on travel outside the country for six months.
