Three militants were killed and two others were injured in two separate security operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province in northwest Pakistan.
The ISPR said in a statement that the security forces conducted two operations based on the intelligence information on reported presence of militants in Tank and DI Khan districts, Radio Pakistan reported.
Later, sanitization of surrounding areas was carried out to eliminate any other militants.
Meanwhile, in another intelligence based operation in Miran Shah, area of North Waziristan district, seven militants were killed.
The seven militants were involved in numerous activities, especially target killings against security forces as well as innocent citizens, Radio Pakistan reported.
