A 3.9-magnitude earthquake recorded in Maysan

The Ministry of Transport announced that its seismic observatories had recorded an earthquake, this evening, Tuesday, in Maysan Governorate.

It showed: “The earthquake was recorded at 08:57:20 this evening local time near the Iraqi-Iranian border at a distance of (74) km northeast of the city of Amarah, and its magnitude reached (3.9) degrees on the Richter scale.”

The citizens did not feel the tremor, and no losses were recorded.
