Hydrocephalic Palestinian prisoner in Israel moved to hospital due to deterioration of her health: Prisoner Society

RAMALLAH- The Palestinian Prisoner Society said today that Dina Jaradat, 23, a Palestinian detainee in Israel suffering from hydrocephalus, was transferred to the hospital three days ago following deterioration of her health.

It said Jaradat needs urgent health follow-up, noting that she has been transferred several times to the hospital since her arrest on August 7 due to the accumulation of fluid in the brain and each time she would stay for hours in the hospital and then be sent back to prison.

Jaradat, from Jenin, was sentenced to four and a half months in prison despite her serious health condition and a fine of $1500 for her political activities against the occupation.
