Israeli forces confiscate bagger, order halt on house construction in Masafer Yatta

Israeli occupation forces ordered today a halt on the construction of a house and confiscated a bagger in Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources. Osama Makhamreh, a local Palestinian activist, told WAFA that Israeli occupation forces ordered a halt on the ongoing construction of a house and confiscated a bagger in Al-Zuwedin village in Masafer Yatta. He said the area where the construction was ordered to stop is located within the jurisdiction of the Al-Zuwedin village council, and that this was the first such order in the area. Located in Area C of the West Bank, under full Israeli administrative and military control, the area has been subjected to repeated Israeli violations by settlers and soldiers, including home demolitions, attacks on civilians and forced expulsion.
