Japan strongly condemned the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh by Israeli forces in the West Bank on Wednesday, May 11.
“Japan extends its sincere condolences to the bereaved family. Japan strongly expects that an immediate and thorough investigation will be conducted under serious cooperation of relevant authorities and stresses the need to bring those responsible to justice, said a statement issued by the ministry of foreign affairs of Japan.
