Major-General Talal Dwaikat, spokesman for the Palestinian security forces, said the legal advisor to the military treasury, Ikrima Muhanna, was gunned down in his house by unidentified gunmen.
The Major-General told WAFA in a telephone call that preliminary information suggests that unidentified gunmen shot Muhanna while he was inside his home in Deir al-Ghusun town in Tulkarem, killing him instantly, before fleeing the scene.
He said that the military prosecution and competent authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the crime, and identify perpetrators to bring them to justice as soon as possible.
